Aims and Scope

The Open Immunology Journal is an open access online journal, which publishes research articles, reviews/mini-reviews, letters and guest edited thematic issues on Immunology including (but not limited to) clinical & translational immunology, cellular and molecular immunology, mucosal immunology, reproductive immunology and neuro-immunology. The journal also covers the pathogenesis, pathophysiology, treatment of autoimmune diseases, diagnostic auto-antibody tests and areas of clinical interest of autoimmunity.

The Open Immunology Journal, a peer-reviewed journal, is an important and reliable source of current information on developments in the field. The emphasis will be on publishing quality papers rapidly and freely available to the researchers worldwide.

Brief Biography

Athanasia Mouzaki, PhD, is a Professor of Laboratory Hematology and Transfusion Medicine, Immunohematology Research Laboratory, Division of Hematology, Dpt. of Internal Medicine, Medical School, University of Patras, Greece. Her training and research interests are in basic and clinical immunology with emphasis on T-cells and cytokines and their functions and malfunctions in immunopathology including autoimmunity, transplantation, infectious diseases and neoplasias. She is the recipient of 27 research grants and has published 111 papers.
